Hi, I'm Louise

I’m a freelance UX designer with a vibrant background in colour expertise, trend forecasting, and visual storytelling. Before moving into UX, I spent years as a Senior Colour Designer at AkzoNobel and as a Creative Consultant, helping brands craft distinctive identities and emotionally resonant experiences. My deep understanding of colour theory and trends continues to shape my work today, guiding user interactions, enhancing accessibility, and bringing visual harmony to every project.
My career began in the world of paint manufacturing, where I developed cohesive colour strategies and innovative design solutions. That experience taught me how empathy, research, and user insights create designs that truly connect; skills that now sit at the heart of my approach to UX.
I’m passionate about creating intuitive, user-centred products that are as functional as they are beautiful. Although I’m new to UX, I’m a fast learner who thrives on collaboration and continuous growth. My goal is simple: to design digital experiences that solve real problems, feel effortless, and bring a little joy to the people who use them.
